Hello from soggy Britain.

Just a note to say the hail showers are happening. They call it a shower because it litterally is like a faucet being turned on and off! The daffodils are in bloom everywhere covering the landscape. Spring has arrived!

Sunday was "Mothering Sunday" here which is just like "Mother's Day" in the States. Roger's parents have the flu so we didn't celebrate it with a meal, but dropped off gifts for his Mom on the day. I got some perfume from my other child (Roger) lol. It was sweet of him to think of me as it is an unknown date in the States.

I got to use my flash umbrella today with the rain. It has lights on it that blink. Very posh.

That's it for now.

I know....don't faint.

I'm actually posting something. I received this video and thought it quite appropriate to post. Unfortunately it won't load so I will give you the link:

People today are just so impatient and can't seem to appreciate anything. I sound like my mother speaking now.

Today is also "Red Nose Day" here in Britain. It is a day for charity held every two years. People do silly things to raise monies ie wearing red rubber ball noses. They have a telethon tonight as well, sort of like Jerry Lewis' Labor Day. One thing about the Brits, they have heart.

Hope it won't be so long before I put fingers to keys again but don't hold your breath.
