Above: Booten church family bible and Blickling Hall where Ann Bolyn (beheaded wife of Henry 8th) once lived. Below: Artsy photo of Blickling lake nearby.

Your's truly and Kellan saying "cheese"! Below: Salle church door leading to tower - spooky! Middle: Roger and Kellan in Salle church. Right: an alter door believed to be the oldest part of the church.

While I am on a roll, I thought I'd publish some photos of a couple churches we visited with Kellan on a drive one day. Once again, I am still learning how to post which means they will not be in any logical order. The first one is of Salle church in Salle (where else?) near where Roger grew up. The second one is called Booton church and is unusual in that it has 2 spires. Not that I have a photo of that (or decent one) of course. Inside there is a family bible that is incredibly old and I believe this church was built, as most of them, around 1000 years ago.

A typical English Xmas dinner. Note the Xmas crackers next to the plates!

Happy New Year to all! I am realizing how far behind on my photo posting that I really am. I still haven't finished posting our vacation photos and here it is the holiday season just gone. Perhaps one of my new year's resolutions should be organization (or organisation as spelled over here - sorry, couldn't resist). Anyway, here's a few pics of our Xmas celebrations and then some.
