Here's our hotel.
And the view from our window. The shopping district is just below.

Lotsa shoes!

Ok, here's some pictures of Amsterdam! First up, Roger and me in Dam Square.

Typical canal street.

Ann Frank's house, undoubtedly my favorite stop and very moving. Her house is in the middle with the green doors at the bottom.

Roger took this photo from the canal boat ride....very artsy!

Shoppers in the rain!

Say Cheeessseeee.....

Easter chocolate!

And yet again, more cheese!

So....went to Amsterdam over the Easter break for 3 days. Weather sucked but enjoyed all the walking and window shopping. Took a canal ride and visited Ann Frank's house, which was the highlite for me. Attached is a photo of the Xmas scene we viewed upon our return home. :)

This is a photo of a missing teenager from Ipswich, near Norwich. I've posted his photo just to spread the word. Perhaps because he is the age of my son, my heart goes out to his mother. It's also attached at the bottom of this page and if you click on it, will give the info.

One of my favorites!

Read this first and then view the video below:

TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES
These 2 guys reared this lion from a baby in England but the authorities would not allow them to keep it once it reached maturity so they were forced to give it up, they took it back to Africa and placed it in a wildlife sanctuary, a year later they went to see it and were told it would not remember them.

I love this video...
