Don't faint now.....I know, I know.....2 blogs in 5 days, will wonders never cease?!
Today is a very Atumnal day. Much like what you think of when you think of England - very misty, colors changing from greens to golds to reds, and a crispier feel to the air in general. Roger and I took a walk at lunch and stopped to feed the horse, "George", in the nearby field. I love days like this!
My mother is doing better. She has been moved to a nursing home for physical therapy. She seems a lot brighter in spirit so that is half the battle right there. We are planning a trip to Seattle for Thanksgiving so this comes at a "good" time. I hope it truly is a Thanksgiving.
I've started early on my Christmas shopping. It seems this year will be a family one with my sister-in-law and her boyfriend home from Antigua. Kellan will be over again and I'm really looking forward to it. I think we will be holding it at ours for the first time - better get those English recipes learned quickly. Can't believe we're talking Christmas again already!
Did I mention I got a much-wanted treadmill for my birthday a month ago? Now, if we can just get it put together...... :)
